rico, I asked the question in the other 7/6 minor league thread, but could you do some research on Jean Carlos Encarnacion? He was a May, 2016, signing, which is kind of an odd time for a signing.

Found this in Fangraphs' preseason writeup on the system:

A Dominican infielder who signed for just $10,000, Encarnacion has begun to grow into his lanky 6-foot-3 frame and flash above-average power. He was a little old for the DSL last year but is worth monitoring as he moves stateside.

So when do we start getting excited about Gohara? Dude has been pretty awesome for us this year in A+ and AA and has electric stuff from the left side.

Gohara came back out for the seventh. Retired the first two hitters before allowing a double and was taken out. Looked pretty good tonight.

Demeritte numbers are plunging. Anyone seen him lately? Is he having any good swings?

He is not. Very easily flying open and out on his front foot a lot. He looks like Gant during the clueless days. I've seen him look much better with less guessing. He's guessing or second guessing himself. I've given a few first hand posts of Albies since Rome. Not even close...

And last night, ninth inning error led to walkoff 3-run homer; he is costing them nightly.

CC, how is Devan Watts' stuff? The guy has been unhittable this season.

He looked good getting the last out in the seventh and retiring the side in the eighth. Obviously, he was hit in the ninth, but Demerritte's error was the play of the inning before the home run. Makes the play, home run doesn't likely have the chance to happen.
