The Trump Presidency

Legit question, because it's hard to keep up with every single post containing some new Russian angle.

What is it that the Russians did that resulted in Trump in winning?

A lot of things contributed to Trump winning and the Russian "contribution" was probably negligible. If you think that disposes of the matter, you might find yourself surprised in the next few months.

I would say we no longer have a conservative party in this country...it remains to be seen how the niche gets filled

My point is the Repubs have won both sides of an election (pop. vote and electoral) once since 1992. The future generations of voters are likely to vote Dem that Rep. The South will be flipping within a couple of elections. It's already happened in VA. NC is a battle every election. Texas and GA will soon follow. It's not the Dems that are in trouble based on trends.[/QUOTE]

GA, NC are trending one way. PA, OH, MI are trending the other way. The tipping point state changes each election.

If more people have jobs and are doing better from an economic standpoint it wont.

Well, I'm seeing a lot of comments like this:

The Rude Pundit‏ @rudepundit

The Trump administration exists because a foreign government wanted it there. If that doesn't enrage you, you're not a patriot.

I'm not even saying he's wrong... but I've seen the claim made (a lot) and I'm still not sure what they did to cause to victory.

Please help

That's debatable. Remember that Carrier VL the liar took? Those jobs are going away at the end of the year. And besides a lot of the current positives credit belongs to Obama. Pumpkinhead has got virtually nothing done in six months.

LA going to have to wait more 4 years just in case this country does the dumb thing and keeps the orange one as president

i mean, unless the republicans find their spine before september and choose country over party

Republicans Reluctantly Acknowledge a Failure of Governing

On Washington

By CARL HULSE JULY 12, 2017

WASHINGTON — Republicans are failing at governance. And they know it.

Their senatorially painful decision announced on Tuesday to sacrifice some of lawmakers’ usually sacrosanct August recess was a public confession that they have not gotten the job done even while controlling the White House, Senate and House of Representatives.

In deciding to forgo at least the first two weeks of their regular summer getaway, Senator Mitch McConnell and his colleagues essentially admitted that they could not afford to go home to face constituents without making a concerted effort to pass contentious health care legislation and put some other points on the board.

57.... I'm deciding if I need to be enraged. Can you explain to me specifically why this point is true?

whew, your opinion of my credibility has been keeping me up nights,
can't tell you how much your concern means

Just to keep track...

you post a stupid tweet that states something as a fact

I ask you how that is a fact - 4 different times

You can't, or won't answer

Cool

Dear God, we call on you to do the right thing.

This article is hilarious. I loved Trump's lawyer's first email response that consisted of two words - "F*ck you". I was busy at work today so hadn't seen the story and about spit out my drink when I heard the emails being read.
