Top candidates for 2020

WE have this posted on a board I admin. Good conversations. The best remark was a battle between Trump and Satan and Satan actually won.

My picks I want in office 2020 and those I do not want to see:

1. Kasich, a favorite and very acceptable to Democrats

2. Booker, look, charisma, more likable for Republicans than Obama, blacks believe he will do more for us than Obama

3. Harris, like above but a little raw (not disimilar to Obama) female, very strong opinioned and like above blacks like her resolve more than Obama

4. Hickenlooper, a scaled down version of Kasich but from the other side, very likable person, only thing that is an issue he is an unknown

5. Haley, female, opinionated will work the other side, only behind Kasich and Hickenlooper in that department, but she is a female and Republicans will be reluctant to follow her because the big money people will somehow denigrate her because of her sex

6. Romney - been there done that and probably a wiser candidate

7. Rand Paul - will flip on the Party using common sense approach to governering that takes the good out of each side and make something of it

8. If had to pick a celebrity, I would do these three in order (The Rock Dwayne Johnson, Oprah Winfrey and Mark Cuban). They all have both strongs and weaknessed but like we see Pres. Master of Disaster, being a celibrity shows you how much a fool you are on the big stage.

Those I don't want see.

1. Any candidates over the age of 75 which eliminates a lot of old crustees in the Democrat party like Crypt Keeper Bernie, ToothyGrin Biden, Pelosi, Reid and Hillary.

2. Warren, fake American Indian that is not well like with constituents that actually votes

3. Palin - please get out of the spot light and never to be seen again

4. Mitch the Bitch from Kaintucky - dude you have warp sense of everything

5. Governor Walker - if you want a robot that likes to bend people over well l have a governor for you

6. Ben Carson - hey, if want a clueless Mannequin, he fits the bill

7. Rubio - Little Marco is quite aptly named

8. Cruz - Boogerman has nothing on him

9. He should be #1 on I will stab my eye blind if he somehow manage to make it to 2020 and the morons vote him back in again and you know who I am talking about. 6'2 orange face, not much hair in a combover style , clueless and certified moron that is parading as our commander in chief in office.

Unless someone from either party that I never heard of comes in guns blazing and exciting that is down the middle, outside my top, not even bother to vote because we will still see the same sh*t we've seen the last 21 years.

Oh 57, don't bother your list is easy.

1. Anyone but a Republican

You don't have to post anything else we all get it.

I'd like to see Amash run.

Always wish Judge Napalatano would run - but he's too old now.

I still like Rand more than most candidates

I would call that a really bizarre list, I don't see any commonality between the people in your "likes" list.
Do you have any criteria for that list besides your gut reaction to the potential candidates?

I expect Kamala and Gillebrand to run.

Bullock a darkhorse to run.

I am all in on Rand. His dealings with Trump has me convinced he is just playing the political game. He is really a Libertarian Trojan horse. If he can just win the nomination the Republican base will get behind him if for no other reason than whoever the democrats nominate will be literally Hitler to them. Then Rand can go full Libertarian.

Since the DNC fully admitted they could hand out their nomination in a Smokey back room they should nominate Rand. He should steal enough moderate Republicans and democrats will fall line because it's either Trump or Pence as the alternative. I get democrats won't agree with his economics but atleast he is very pro civil rights

Why should there be? I like them for different reasons and I explained them. I also provided a list of those I don't like as well and reasons. Rubio is over his head and Ted the Boogerman is totally unlikable, if you need an explanation.

I don't follow one party unlike a few on here. I go for what I think is best for me AND my people. We gave you all Obama and he just didn't cut it for us in what we envisioned as our president. Too much Uncle Tom in him and he did great service if you were a progressive socialist white or Hispanic.

I am confused any time someone doesn't mention policy positions when discussing candidates. You have establishment Republicans, establishment Democrats, hard left Democrats, and a Libertarian-lite tossed in together. That list seems to imply that you don't have any position on foreign policy, drug legalization, abortion, affirmative action, welfare spending, prison sentencing, or quite frankly anything else.

I go for what I think is best for me AND my people.

Your people? What do you mean by your people? Americans? Christians? Residents of Illinois? Sci-Fi fans? Braves fans?

Blacks (90% are Christians, more so than Republican Whites).

Problem is that there is no candidate that is perfect to me because my beliefs are on both sides but I can tell what I don't like.

Democrat negative paternalism and hypocrisy while for Republicans greed and tough schit attitude. Those attitudes affect my race more than anything.

Edit - the bold I look at more than the rest

Donald Trump

Trump will probably win.

The only guy I think the dems can throw out there is Tim Cook

He already knows every world leader. He's negotiated deals in every country.

He's gay.

He's the Biggest pro-privacy guy in the tech world

He's pro capitalism and understands business and taxes as good as anyone.

He's all about privacy and equal rights.

I think people are sick of politicians and want changes

Trump will probably win.

Only chance he has is if the democratic process is entirely compromised by then. Very possible.

I'll throw out a name for the Dems - Al Franken. Loved his books. Thought his cancellation on Real Time recently might be a signal.
