Surely Santana is activated today. If so, does Jace (homerun last night) or lane (huge 2b) go down?

Alex Jackson three-run homer.

Just looked at Jackson's stats through yesterday. Offensively, he's amongst the top guys in the FSL. 6 months younger than Nick Senzel and hitting as well or better than him. Probably unlikely he'll be able to stick at catcher, but the Braves have to be pretty pleased.

Drew Waters double in his first AB at Danville.

Kevin Maitan RBI single in his first AB at Danville.

Bryce Wilson dealing again.

Herbert 3-3. Avg over .270 now. I like this kid.

Wilson would be a top 10 prospect in any other farm system in baseball. WIth the Braves he is around 12. Aside from the obvious answer of Acuna/Soroka...Wilson/Touki have probably raised their value as much as anyone in the system this year.

Gohara...
4.0 ip 3 h 0 er 0 bb 3 k

Season era at 2.64

Is it the posi in me that I'm getting really pumped up over this kid?

You should be just like the rest of Braves country. Braves scouts correctly identified this kid as a big riser and all the indications were there after how he performed in A-Ball plus the AFL. You could make a convincing argument that he is the highest upside arm in the whole organization aside from Folty.

I know the prospect sites don't put much stock into short season stats, but Waters has to be making a pretty strong case for some Top 100 consideration.

Pache is not hitting for any power (We all know that develops last) but he is showing some nice plate discpline numbers and seems to profile as a guy who will have a consistent above average BABIP in the majors if he makes it.

At the worst he looks like a potential plus defender in CF that can get on base at a reasonable clip while using his speed to provide positive base running value. Not a bad guy to have in 3 years when Enders future may need to be evaluated.
