I can't believe I saw Acuna this year, only 3 months ago, in High A ball. Look how far he's come in that time. Amazing. He's going to be in Atlanta on Sept 1.

Yeah, I saw him early last year in Rome when he was just somebody to keep an eye on, and he didn't instantly stand out to me the couple games I watched. The fact he is where he is just a little over a year later is pretty mind-boggling.

Acuna just missed that last AB. a bit off the end of the bat..
I love watching minor league relievers like Phillips or whoever I just watched. dude hits a guy, walks a guy, K's a guy, walks a guy.. gets ahead 0-2 and proceeds to try to 'trick' him into the K evening the count until he groves a meatball down the middle. Why not just attack the zone with your best stuff so you learn how to get guys out instead of hoping you trick them into swinging at junk.. God I hate nibblers like that.
