AcuñaMania

Bellinger has also hit HR much more frequently since reaching the majors.

As has Aaron Judge.

They've both cut their PA per HR by almost 10 percentage points from their late-minors careers.

These are young guys just growing into their power, much like 19-year-old Acuña.

I invite the mods to get involved to enforce the outcomes of all bets of this nature.

Now I just need to get you to back one of your own moronic ideas.

You think I'd trust you? There are ways to circumvent a ban and I'm sure a person of your character will do it.

Here is tonight's triple from someone on YouTube. Looks like a pedestrian double that he turned into a triple with his FV 55 (lol) speed. This is the type of stuff the stats don't show.

I don't want Enscheff banned if he loses the bet. I want him living down his arrogance on this board.

Unfortunately, he wouldn't show you the same kindness. The guy is no good. He takes advantage of people that don't have his knowledge of the game and then parades around like a chimp when he wins. If I was you I'd stay clear of him.

LOL, you don't need to continue trying to convince me. Bet is already made.

Ronald at age 19 has raised his ISO and OPS at every level this year while lowering his K% and walking more. 71 PA at AAA.

His .246 ISO would rank 5th in the International League. His .896 OPS would rank 3rd. His BABIP is only .318 with a .279 average.

Mike Trout's ISO at AAA at age 20 was .221 in 93 PA. His OPS was 1.091. His BABIP was .476 (!!!) with a .403 average.

I don't know what the future will hold for Acuna but I think he will easily be our best prospect since Heyward. The only two other guys I can think of that have gone through a tear of the minors for Atlanta at this age is Heyward and Andruw. Good company.

I was much younger, but I thought Heyward was going to be a star of stars.

When healthy, he did put up a 20/20 year in Atlanta at age 22.

Then he lost all his power. He's a huge mystery to me.

Sadly getting hit in the face is likely what altered his career. He hasn't been the same since.

Here is tonight's triple from someone on YouTube. Looks like a pedestrian double that he turned into a triple with his FV 60 (lol) speed. This is the type of stuff the stats don't show.

look at him run! wow

The FV stands for future value. The expectation is he gets bigger, stronger and slower. His current speed won't likely affect perception of that projection.

To further spell that out. Acuna has a 60/55 speed rating. Meaning his current 60 speed is quite accurate and as you stated will likely slow down as most prospects do.

Right, buts it's going to be better than a 55 FV it seems at least until he's past his mid 20s. The kid can fly.

I do agree with a lot of SJ24 - even if I'm not quite as optimistic. The scouting services have been slow on acuna due to his age and lack of games played.

55 FV speed.

Lol.

FV is not used to rate individual tools like speed. FV represents total overall value.

It's adorable you are trying so hard to use scouting terms and stats though.

It's like watching a toddler try to use his daddy's big boy tools haha.

Luckily, we only have to put up wit your nonsense for 14 more months.
