Are you just going to compare him to every single 19 year old minor leaguer, regardless of what level they were at?
If so, this is going to be a long thread.
Just walked in his 5th at-bat.
In AAA, his BB% is 11%, and his K% is 19.7%.
At 19 in AA, Mike Trout's BB% was 10.9% and his K% was 18.4%.
In terms of production and age per level acuna is in rarified air. He's certainly not the only player to do these things and it's no guarantee of stardom but you have to get giddy just thinking about him in RF for the next 15 years (hopefully)
I'm just looking forward to Troutian 10+ WAR season he produces for the Braves next year when he's 20. That upgrade in a corner OF spot will be huge for the Braves.
The only components that will increase in FGs ranking will be his power and his proximity to the majors. He will be a 60 with a change to be a 65.
His running should def go up to. I've watched him several times this year and the dude is fast. He has a cannon too.
Yep. The people who actually watch the kid know what's up. These pencil-necked stat geeks who worship at the altar of their savior Mike Trout have no idea what has been imported from Venezuela.
Then they are wrong. His arm, speed, and hit tool are higher than what Longenhagen gave him preseason. Easily.
Fangraphs had Austin Meadows (who has looked like trash at AAA for 2 seasons now) and Dansby Swanson as FV 65 in the preseason.
But Enscheff says there's a "chance" Ronald Acuña gets to 65.
Give me a break.

Leave the board bet?
If FG gives him a 70, I leave the board.
If they give him anything less, you're gone.
Deal?
