There's just no excuse to be swept by the beyond horrible Phillies. Blame Snit for this.
Only if the FO wasn't so bull headed they would've been traded those guys!

Good thing we're getting all these old guys and non-future guys ABs in this "pennant race". So glad we aren't giving Swanson ABs... he might cost us some games

I predicted how the Braves would do in the tough stretch right to the number outside of getting swept by the Cubs and not taking any game vs the Dodgers (I had those two reversed)....
And then they turn right around and probably get swept by the Phillies (oh yes, I'm going ahead and saying it, don't like doing it but with how bad things look, I think it's happening).

Braves are now just 3.5 games and 3 teams to jump to get that top 5 pick in next year's draft.
Oh...you know we'll go on a winning streak over the last ten games to secure the #13th pick. It's how we roll....

I had 10 wins for the month so I still have a shot. Of course I didn't predict the DBacks sweep earlier and taking 2 of 4 from the Dodgers. But I also didn't see us getting swept by the Cubs or not winning any vs the Phillies.
