Worst Brave ever?

Should have put Kenny Lofton on the list. Still utterly pissed we traded for him. Grissom was one of my favorites.

I didn't realize Surhoff had that off-the-field issue, but come on....a lot of players are away from their families.

Marty Clary circa 1990. Ken obrekfell because of his crappy power at 3rd base. JeFf Dedmon, Paul Runge, Brad Komminsk, Joe Boever, Jim Acker, Ron Harper

J. Manning from the 1875 Boston Braves. I watched him play when I was 25 years old and just got back from service in the Red River War. I remember even back then we posted on the old Braves forum about his lack of OBP skills and poor defense. Ole Harry Wright always ran him out there though.

Not many people even know what the Red River War was or about. Significant to you???

Great guy and currently a man of the cloth (so I hate to dis him too much), but Terry Blocker was just about the worst player I've ever seen for the Braves.

Blackwater and others, I didn't want to dog you guys for being young, but those of us who watched or listened to the Braves in the 1970s and 1980s have seen some players that make Dan Kolb look like a Hall of Famer.

Listen to this run of terrible shortstops. Andres Thomas was terrible and he took over for Rafael Ramirez who was also terrible who took over for Luis Gomez who was also terrible who took over for Pepe Frias who was also terrible who took over for Darrel Chaney who split a few seasons with Pat Rockett who was also terrible following a season of Larvell "Scooter or Shootin'" Blanks who was also terrible who took over for Craig Robinson who was also terrible who took over for Marty Perez who wasn't very good who took over for the Sonny Jackson/Gil Garrido tandem in a two decade run of absolutely abysmal shortstop play in the wake of the Denis Menke era (who didn't have much range and spent most of his post-Braves' career at 3B, but at least knew what a bat looked like).

Ken Oberkfell was my least favorite Brave. The guy could walk (which is valuable), but that was IT.

Wow, I remembered him, mid to late 70's, the whole team sucked outside of The Sarge and Jeff Burroughs.

BJ Surhoff always pissed me off because you could see he wasn't happy playing here. When he tore his ACL, it's almost like he was relieved he didn't have to play for us.

Get the spelling right.

BJ Sureout

Was Rico Brogna mentioned in here or Robert "Thug" Fick?

Rafael Ramirez had a decent career and for SS during that time, he was actually one of the better ones.
