Called Up to the Major Leagues
Not going to do any major writeups (too time-consuming). If anybody wants an impression, please post with questions/comments.

The series is Friday the 18th through Sunday the 20th.

The roster is a bit depleted with Dansby called back up and Albies also.

Curious about seeing Wisler and especially Gohara on the mound. Definitely want a good hard look at Acuna and monitor progress of Dustin Peterson.

I had the chance to go over there this year that was a beautiful park. i got Albies and Rio to signed some baseballs.

Gohara hitting between 95-97 on fastball. Initial impression is that he may not regularly harness it in the strike zone.

Acuna listed at 6'0". Doesn't seem that big.

He doesn't jump on first pitches. So seems to have patience. Eating up AAA pitching. Hits right up the middle frequently. Defenses could certainly adjust to this, and pitchers could find another way around
Hard to argue with the results so far!

At least in this game, seems like Gohara either walks or strikes somebody out. It's not much of an impression (one game) but thinking long term he probably won't be starter in Atlanta. Fireballing lefty relievers have been few and far between (Randy Myers, our buddy Rocker etc.) Gohara could show more velocity in the shorter spurts of 1-2 innings. Thinking that this would be the more logical long term plan of they can get the most out of him.

Acuna scored after baserunning blunder at 3rd with runner advancing from 2nd, which resulted in defensive miscue. Very impressed with his heads up play, as many other players (most?) would've accepted being dead at home.
