Julio my man, you're a very well read individual. If there's any ONE person who founded the horrible practice of slavery in the western hemisphere it was Cristobal Colon. Read his writings, among the very first things he said to the officers on his 3 ships once they reached the Bahamas was how easily those people (the natives) could be enslaved.

Sorry been busy with the death of a high school friend. Yes, it's stupid beyond belief. I actually feel horrible for Robert Lee being caught in the middle of this. I guess bright side is at least he gets some name recognition?

The moron in charge doesn't have an agenda either except for seeking out praise at all times. He doesn't give a **** about policy. If he did, he would've actually done something to try to pass the flawed healthcare nomination instead of watching Fox and Friends all morning and then Fox News the rest of the day.

When my friend (who voted for Trump) and I were watching the debate together, we both made comments at various points throughout the debate at how creepy he was coming across and almost stalking his prey.
 
Columbus is in no way a founder. holy **** it's funny to think someone would try to claim he was though

and there is nothing at all new about people wanting to take down Columbus statues or get rid of his holiday

which i think the holiday should most likely go away and be Indigenous Peoples' Day instead

don't think i would take the statues of him down though

Remember when the right wing criticized Obama for holding re-election campaign rallies in 2011 when the GOP debates started?

I wonder how they feel about Trump already holding re-election rallies 8 months into his term.
 
Pretty sure Trump would have these rallies even if he was on his second term. He likes to be the center of attention and to have his ass kissed.

I think these are very strategic. Other than the fact of Trump being an egomaniac they serve as a reminder to the establishment that there are REAL people who support Trump and the policies he is trying to implement. Putting a face on his supporters makes it more difficult to think you can jsut remove him from office based on flimsy evidence.
 
just want to bring this back up because i find it particularly disturbing. remember that trump routinely walked into the dressing rooms of girls 16 and under at various stages. his daughter said "yeah, he does that." did we land on "oh, just dumb trump!" or "oh, wow, what a ****ing scumbag."

he's the scum of all scum. i don't know how people who have daughters voted for him.
 
What does that really have to do with being President? I will take a competent President who rapes a toddler every night in the oval office over Hillary or Trump.

I think Trump being President is good thing as I said when he was elected. Its going to be a rubber band effect. Right now Authoritarians who disregard the constitution and want to wage war against American citizens gets 97% of the vote. Nothing is going to help the side of good win the war on drugs than having Trump as the poster boy for the policy. Never has the war on drugs been a white nationalist front been so clear as when Jeff Sessions advocates for it. Change is a coming. The only question now is many cops have to die before they stop the American Holocaust.
