The Trump Presidency

You dont get to be President by being a good person, a nice guy, ideologically consistent, adhering to the constitution, or by having integrity. Someone with all those qualities is an extreme fringe candidate in todays society. Lets not romanticize the past and pretend presidents or american politics has always been civil and run by competent people with integrity. Some of them were even criminals who killed police/soliders of the country they were born in because they felt their rights were being violated. We give people the death penalty for that today.

You seem to have forgotten the last 8 years. Obama was not perfect, but as you imply, politics is a blood sport. I certainly didn't expected T to be a symbol of dignity, grace and political skill but I also didn't expect this level of incompetence either. He should be given the verdict of liberum mortis arbitrium, the free choice of death. But unfortunately he doesn't have the character for such an honorable exit.

These are in essence utilities and have monopolies over information sharing. Google and Facebook are in essence more powerful than a government.

I agree about Obama. How Republicans treated him is what finally got me to quit and go full Libertarian. I don't agree with most of his policies but Republican obstructionism was at comical levels.
