The Trump Presidency

What rules? You mean the ones where we arbitrarily judge people by how they make and spend their money.

you think that is why the orange **** hasn't released his tax returns?

really Hawk?

i expect some **** like that from thethe or the so called freedom lover

"White House no longer saying trump is donating his personal money to Harvey victims"

Shocked I tell ya

It's almost like he is a fraud

Only view hawk in a different way for carrying weight for this fraud honestly cause I always thought we were similar in views while being "opposing views" to the rest

You guys really struggle with the meaning of 'walk back' ...

As in "Mattis and Kelly walk back threats to bomb N Korea"
Or as Bannon inferred " ... bluff ... "

I still don't think he has a million to give

Who is paying his current legal fees ?

He thinks ppl are too stupid to know that a pledge and a donation aren't the same thing. Well, most ppl.

Yes, I do think that's why.

It's the same reason why Mitt Romney hemmed and hawed about releasing his. In Romney's case, had anybody actually understood his taxes they would have realized that he really was brilliant at the primary thing he claimed to be an expert at. Trump is on record saying that he believes Romney lost in 2012 because he waited until September to release his tax returns and, then, because a few 'minor details' were misunderstood by the general public. Based on the outcry from the media after Rachel Maddow's single-page-tax-summary-mega-show-spectacular, I can understand exactly why Trump hasn't given ground on his returns. In fact, I respect him for doing it his way and not folding under pressure. Call it a symbol of his tenacity. People are ravenous for a piece of this guy.

No, I don't think it has anything do to with hidden Russian monies or unscrupulous business dealings, because I don't believe Trump's life is torn from the pages of a cheap paperback novel. And because I'm not an easily duped lemming. At least ... not _that_ easily duped.

The weight I carry for Trump (and, trust me, it ain't light) is borne almost entirely because I believe that his candidacy is solid step in a direction toward where our shared views can be achieved. It has little to do with what Trump has said/done, his policy initiatives, or connection to the Republicans.

Trump won because he didn't fit the mold, so what's transpiring now doesn't shock me or surprise me. Obviously, I'd do it another way, but let's all just take a breath and heed Senator Feinstein's advice.

Well, if anything, this entire non-issue will cast light on a whole bunch of mega-donations we're lauding the rich and famous for right now.

Could you expand on that part a little bit?

This is a constitutional crisis. I never liked Comey because he has turned a blind eye to the largest criminal gang in US history that operates with near impunity because he refused to do his job and protect citizens from police. Its not IAD's job to police the police, its the FBI's job. Comey has said his goal was to restore faith in the police, he just tried to do that by burying his head in the sand.

Now we find out he is obstructing justice to protect political elites. This is the top lawman in the country. He wants to vigorously pursue locking up you or me but wants a different standard for political elites. This isnt justice. This isnt rule of law. Whats it going to take for people to fight back? The police are not the good guys.

I see this was conveniently ignored.

DOJ Friday evening: "Both FBI and NSD confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described by the March 4, 2017 tweets"

so today, there is no EPA on the ground in SE Texas
and there was a "C" marked.
Doesn't matter what that "C" meant --- rush to judgement -- there was a "C"
but no EPA

I just realized the thing I miss most about Barack Obama is having a president I didn't think about every single day of my life.
