<B>Director of Minor League Reports</B>
When I noticed that Mike Minor got the win for the Royals on Saturday, I took a closer look at his work this season. I was more than a little surprised to see what a workhorse he has been in the KC bullpen this year.
Minor has appeared in 57 games, all in relief, and has compiled a 6-6 record, 2.75 ERA, all in relief. He's worked 69 innings, 77 Ks, 20 walks and only 51 hits allowed in his first MLB action since 2014.
Props to he and Dayton Moore in one of the better salvage jobs of 2017. He's still only 29 and now two years removed his labrum surgery.

Combined Minor's season with the 68 games that Peter Moylan has appeared in for the Royals this year, the Royals seem to be doing well with our sloppy seconds. Expect to hear of their signing Jonny Venters any day now; maybe even EOF.
