The Trump Presidency

trump kicked off his campaign by calling mexicans rapists and oh yeah his birtherism bull**** for how long? the white house shouldn't be calling for anyone's job except his.

also he's really draining the swamp while he and his cabinet rack up millions upon millions of personal spending funded by us, the tax payers! as long as it goes to them and not starving people i'm cool with it.

Love how delusional you are by thinking this is remotely the same thing. How many people do you think know how this bum is?

You guys are really falling off the deep end because none of your conspiracy theories are proving to be true. Keep reaching. Trump is still your president.

I think Jemele Hill is a talentless, clueless hack who should have been fired long ago for being unwatchable. Additionally, I think everyone here is familiar enough with ESPN to know how this would have gone down had the tweets been critical of Obama instead of Trump.

Having said all that, Trump needs to learn to hoe his own row and not swing like a drunk in a bar fight every time someone with a microphone calls him mean names.

Not to mention that she probably has a morals clause in her contract that this incident likely violates. ESPN certainly has the grounds to fire her, although whether or not they want to get sucked into the white supremacist vortex is another story entirely.

Trumps America, where calling a person who is endorsed by white supremacists and spouts white supremacists lines violates your "morals clause" when you call said person a white supremacist

Trumps America, where mentioning contract law in the midst of a whirlwind of the most forlorn butthurt ever gets you misplaced political self-righteousness.

Generally, talent needs to know what behavior or conduct will trigger the morals clause in an agreement. Specifically, talent needs to be cognizant that the morals clause may prohibit a broad range of conduct that may seem otherwise permissible. Whether the morals clause is drafted broadly or narrowly will largely determine what conduct is allowed and what is prohibited. For example, the broad morals clause at issue in Nader allowed ABC to terminate the agreement for any conduct that “might tend to reflect unfavorably on ABCor any of its sponsors, licensees, series, or programs.’ Similarly, the morals clauses in NFL player contracts allow a team to unilaterally terminate a player agreement if the player has engaged in conduct deemed to adversely affect or reflect on the team.’ Such clauses are so broad that they could potentially apply to an expansive array of conduct. For instance, one could argue that the rather socially acceptable behavior of obtaining an amicable divorce could violate morals clauses such as these; after all, an actor or actress obtaining an amicable divorce “might tend to reflect unfavorably on ABC” if the network is attempting to portray a family friendly image.

Well one of those is the truth. Anyone who takes bribes to push incarceration for victimless crimes is a traitor to the country and deserves to be hung by the neck until death. Treason is literally defined as waging war against ones own country. That's exactly what the war on drugs is.

I don't really think making baseless threats against the president should be a crime either. It's the type of law third world dictators use to punish critics.

Did @jemelehill start a presidential campaign by calling Mexicans rapists? Or start birtherism? Someone should lose their job. It's not her.

What bothers me most about the electorate is how unaware they (we) are of current events.

Do you realize 30 some % of the electorate still believe Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11

You can't say you weren't informed.
What you do with the information is your business

So yeah, I check twitter instead of doing crossword puzzles

But you check things that are uninformed.

You post a tweet saying the WH was demanding someone get fired... That was uninformed.

You posted a tweet saying the only reason Trump is President is because Putin wanted him to be. That was uninformed.

You think that antifa only fight Nazis. That is uninformed.

You should adjust your sources

Trump started the birth certificate ****? That's some nice revisionist history. We both know Trump hasn't had an original thought in years. He saw that **** on fox news and ran with it.
