Antifa

I wasn't kidding here... did I miss all the nazis at all the other events?

People are saying it as a fact - so I'd imagine I just wasn't paying enough attention

You won't hear a word. The left and MSM are running so hard away from AntiFa now that they are about to pull a hammy. Their hope is if they stop talking about it the American people will forget how incredibly stupid they were to embrace these communists.

i still don't have a problem with being against fascists and violence against nazis

The left is mostly complaining about how dumb and shortsighted is the mainstream coverage of the issue.

Neither am I. It's when Antifa is being violent against conservatives who aren't Nazis where I draw the line.

On a related note, I am attending Berkeley right now and I had a conversation with a few Antifa members who were organizing the "Speak Out" event during the Ben Shapiro event. Both of the Antifa members I spoke to didnt agree that free speech should be protected. No elaboration, no conditions, simply that certain opinions should be illegal to share. Obviously, they were referring to what they deem hate speech, but this seemed very Orwellian to me.

I just don't understand why that group could appeal to anyone.

I've seen mostly outright avoidance personally.

kind of like starting this thread to take focus off that some people who feel embolden by their president to come out of the shadows with their white supremacy and killed a woman?

or is this different?

Did anyone start the conversation that Nazis were good people fighting a noble battle?

Tucker Carlson did a segment on college students and thier thoughts on free speech last week. Less than 50% of college students knew that hate speech falls under free speech. Sad

Speaking of strawman defenses...

The indoctrination of our children has been going on for decades and the left is certainly winning the war

I've shown several examples in this thread that antifa is not only anti-nazi, but ant-conservative

And if you don't agree with them, then prepared to have your property destroyed

But goldy will continue to defend them because they also hate nazis... good for them.

Remember... if you march next to someone with a confederate flag, then you are a racist who supports slavery

If you march next to someone with a communist flag, then... you hate nazis, I guess?

It's going to be real tough for the left to swallow their pride and admit Trump was right about Charlottesville.

In his summary of the estimates in the Black Book of Communism, Martin Malia suggested a death toll of between 85 and 100 million people.

As of 2011, academic consensus has not been achieved on causes of large scale killings by states, including by states governed by communists. In particular, the number of comparative studies suggesting causes is limited. The highest death tolls that have been documented in communist states occurred in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin, in the People's Republic of China under Mao Zedong, and in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. The estimates of the number of non-combatants killed by these three regimes alone range from a low of 21 million to a high of 70 million. There have also been killings on a smaller scale in North Korea, Vietnam, and some Eastern European and African countries.

It appears that the "free speech rally" at Berkeley this week has been effectively shut down due to an nonvenomous amount of death threats and threats of violence.

The tolerant left (as long as you agree with them) strikes again

You mean the fascists shut down a free speech rally?
