9/29 GDT

Lane Adams is pacing a 2.7 fWAR over 600 PAs

I think the path is clear next year.

Dump Kemp

Play Adams in RF

Neck at Left (until late May early June for Acuna)

Play Simmons at 3rd

Sign Reed/Mcghee for the pen

Rotation of Teheran/Folty/Gohara/Newk/Fried

Mid 80 win team

I'm guessing you think Acuna is going to start the year with the big league club?

I think so. And while I think he'll do ok, it will be considered disappointing by many in light of the crazy season he's had this year. It's gonna be very hard for him to live up to expectations. And I think the FO will gin up the hype machine just like they did with Swanson.

Dansby will have a strong season next year. 2.0-3.0 WAR... book it

Will be interesting to see how people react. Andruw was "only" a 3.7 fWAR player in his rookie season and is either 1a or 1b in being the best prospect ever.

He won't be in AAA long either way. Albies will be better I bet. Acuna will be pretty disappointing to a lot of Braves fans who don't understand how inflated his BABIP was this year.

If you spend 75% of your player acquisition assets getting pitching prospects, you are bound to hit on one.

Gohara seems to be the first one who is as advertised. I think that makes the FO 1 for 8 now?

I think they've all been pretty much as advertised.

Lol you said 2-3. The bet is not 1.

2.5 fWAR is the bet, midway of your prediction.

The one thing that does give me a smidge of hope for Swanson is that if the slider thing is something that can be fixed, I'm confident he will do all he can to address it. I think that its more likely that you're right, but I do think that there is a 30-40% chance that he figures things out over the offseason and becomes better.
