Rand Paul

This is really my only point here, in response to the original comment of "not much doubt about collusion anymore".

There is nothing but doubt and assumption.

So far.

Fair enough, as far as I'm concerned.

They colluded - that isn't in doubt - what is to be determined is whether that collusion resulted in a crime.

My favorite take from that link:

I think that those who despise President Donald Trump continually find ways of nourishing their deep abhorrence. If it is not “collusion,” it is “treason” or “conflict of interest” or “obstruction.” The wheat, if there is any, gets lost amid all the chaff. Those who lionize the president are in the lamentable business of excusing conduct, no matter if it demonstrates extremely bad judgment, poor taste or worse. Both tendencies will continue for the foreseeable future.

Collusion itself is not necessarily a crime. Or perhaps a crime in only a technical meaningless sense. As I said it was more of a dance, a courtship. And they discovered they liked each other.

This thread has gotten off course in an interesting way - having said that, the thought of having Rand Paul as a next door neighbor ...
and that he participates in yard work.

What a weekend

I say this with all best wishes for the speedy recovery of the senator, and with sadness that he was assaulted, but if it turns out that he got into a neighborly dispute because he didn't obey a legally-binding compact between private citizens (i.e. his HOA) I admit that I will be the teensiest bit amused.

you are so blinded by your loyalty you aren't seeing the truth that thethe is presenting to you and your violent party and brethren

I'll just sit back and watch you guys dig the hole deeper. When the investigation is done it will clear this was politically motivated.

Unless you think this guy was stupid enough to assault a US senator over grass clippings.

my theory is it was rough sex (consensual mind you) and the grass clippings are a cover story
