If I show you pictures of Nazis doing charity work would that make them good people? Obviously I dont know a lot of these people but this is the general demographic that votes their perception of their religion. They are the jackasses who vote for prohibition. So yeah, its nice they got off their asses to help people but I would far more grateful if they stayed on their asses and left the rest of us the **** alone. Your charity work doesnt wash away the millions of incarcerated poor people they continuously **** over. Your charity work doesnt help the people shot in a drive by shooting over turf to sell drugs caused by your voting for prohibition. I am not a violent person but if someone ever says "marijuana needs to be illegal cause ya needs to be reading the bibles instead of smoking the doobies" to my face there better be a god to hold me back.

The main democraphic that is still marijuanaphobic...... are people 50 and over. The #1 reason that demographic thinks marijuana should stay illegal is because "they need to read the bible and not smoke a dooby". In protest I smoke a doobie using a page of the bible every year. Pro-tip, less ink on the page the better.

Tell you what, next time you go to church ask 10 people over 50 if they think marijuana should be illegal and why the support or don't support. I guarantee you get 2 answers. The bible answer and "because kids might use it".

A lot of assumptions are being made here. It's quite possible that some of those shooters identified as female or a non-binary gender while they were committing their crimes. I'm disappointed to see such blatant transphobia from Mother Jones.
