Riley strikes out, Acuna hits a missile to third that is caught by Neuse for an out, and Jackson hit an oppo single down the line
 
Acuna is gonna be really good man. Was totally jammed up on that hit, and he just muscled it out into the outfield. People have insane expectations that he likely won't be able to meet, but he is still gonna be a very valuable member of the Braves for a long time
 
So exciting to have a legit mvp type prospect about to hit the major league team. Couple him with Albies and all of a sudden the braves are a must watch daily again.

That would be true if it were not for Kemp/Swanson and a question at 3rd being on the field. Watching Kemp waddle around LF is more scary than any of the Walking Dead shows. Watching him run to 1st slower than the walking dead is gut wrenching. Being down a run of 2 w/RISP and Swanson or Kemp AB and K is far and above worse than any of the joy of Acuna, Albies and our catchers knocking in the winniing run.

Yeah but we will somehow mess it up. He’ll either have a short cold streak and be benched, ala Dansby, or he’ll be platooned with Markakis. This is the Braves here.

Kemp is temporary and we will probably only have to endure seeing him for 1 season at the most. Swanson was an issue last year but at least he has some upside.

However, teh combination of Albies/Acuna will be a joy to watch for the next 10 years.

I'm no commenting on the relative effectiveness of the past regime. I'm simply noting that saying the braves always do something is irrelevant. We are under completely new direction. You all love to jump on anything possible. I say enough dumb **** for you guys to laugh at. Let's not create new ones ok?
