i don't care if China didn't like Obama cause Obama tried to hold their feet to the fire on issues of freedom of the press etc etc etc

it's his job to push for those types of things from communist countries

if that upsets China, so be it.

the blatant disregard of pushing freedom issues as the supposed leader of the free world is embarrassing and must suck for those that looked to us as hope for helping to change countries

The Saudis just allowed women to drive (crazy how poorly women are treated in Muslim countries) and the crown prince has been on record saying positive things about trump. Does this administration get credit for that? I'm guessing you think not.

I guess Obama should get credit for trying to get Cuba on board but so far it's been an epic failure. Just like most things Obama did.

The ambiguity of "freedom issues" is perhaps the perfect way to characterize Obama's foreign policy, in general.

I've always been of the opinion that not letting women drive was the one thing the Saudis got right

Perhaps I shouldn't overgeneralize based upon the women In my family

I don't think there are - or should be - any basic requirements to hold office (aside from the natural-born clause). In fact, if voting for somebody like Trump flies in the face of that paradigm, by design, then I would hope for many more candidates of his ilk.

As to your #3; I'm not one of those people.

cool, you listed another monarch/dictator that liked him. weird how that keeps happening

obama gets blame for the orange piece of trash rolling it as far back as he could to appease a small voting block in a swing state instead of trying to make it work and in the process does nothing but hurts the actual people of Cuba more? that makes total sense

If you could name two ways that the Obama administration "pushed" the Chinese for "freedom things" then I would be mighty impressed.

Because I can think of like one sorta kinda thing, but I want to know what alternative universe I've been living in if there's an actual, obvious list.

it doesn't seem they went to bat for any of that

they didn't ask for it which is usually agreed upon on simple issues by just asking
