Sources: #Braves have parted with Adam Fisher, whom they hired as assistant GM on Sept. 12, and hired Andrew Tinnish from #BlueJays as their VP of amateur and international scouting, with Perry Minasian moving from director of player personnel to assistant GM.

Yes and no.

After Coppy was fired, he was in a lame duck situation with a boss he didn't know. Being let go from his contract (with full pay) allows him to pick and choose who and where he gets to work.

Seems like he is a talented guy who should fall on his feet somewhere else.
