MORE ROY

theocrat too...don't forget that part

true. i find it so hard to believe people like moore are actually devout christians however. he's a thorough scumbag and blatantly racist and bigoted. i think he uses religion to whip up support and rally the (R) base. but he doesn't practice what he preaches (or twists the bible to make it what he wants to practice). but i don't believe he's much different than a lot of "christians" in that regard.

It seems like they're in the national spotlight with Trump and Moore.

they will vote for anybody guilty of anything as long as that person says they're against abortion. they think trump is a godly man despite the fact he is and has been the epitome of the seven deadly sins. they're incredibly deluded.

At least by the White House's logic we now can confirm that the allegations against Moore were true!

Trump is hilarious.

I appreciated his gracious tweet congratulating Jones, but it didn't get my hopes up.

But, wow, his response now is shameless and the polar opposite of leadership.

He supported Strange in the primary, then after the primary deleted all of his tweets supporting Strange and attached himself to Moore. Now Moore loses and he's throwing him under the bus and trying to make himself look smart for having backed Strange. Jeez. Just the fact that he apparently feels compelled to do it is childish.

"They" aren't all the same.

If you want a great listen to Alex Jones election results show. I don't know if it's intentional or unintentional comedy but it's damn funny. Almost 2 hours in and they are convinced a landslide win for Roy is coming. So many good quotes from this show.

I can't endure more than about 10 seconds of that guy.

if republican votersjs in alabama cared about those things so much he wouldn't have won the primary in the first place. it was very obvious the kind of person he was and his views have been public for a while. i don't think most people in alabama saw that stuff as a negative. "evangelicals" certainly don't.

I wasn’t talking about Republican voters in Alabama.

But, while we’re at it, could you show me where these issues were discussed during the primary?

You literally do not read my posts.

Is that right? Let s do a little Q/A to make sure I have your points right.

Does Jpx believe in redistributing wealth? (yes/no will suffice)

Does Jpx believe we should guarantee basic minimums to all citizens? (yes/no will suffice)

Sturg thinks the answer to both of those questions is yes.

If Sturg is right, then by definition, Jpx thinks he has a right to the fruits of other's labor. That cannot be debated.

Now feel free to post a long winded wordsmith about why this is not the case, but actually is, but actually isn't exactly the case, etc.

never forget how the GOP handled this and came back to back him etc:

A month ago: Moore should step aside.

Two weeks ago: it's up to the voters

Monday: we need his vote in the Senate

Of coursee that's the approach. We are trying to push through an agenda that is actually helping all americans. I know you disagree but the numbers prove it out.

My favorite part is the GOP stopped funding him then like two weeks later they started quietly funding him again.

Jones beat Moore with strong turnout and a crushing lead among African Americans; a decisive advantage among younger voters; and major gains among college-educated and suburban whites, especially women. That allowed Jones to overcome big margins for Moore among the key elements of Trump’s coalition: older, blue-collar, evangelical, and non-urban white voters.

This was the same equation that powered the Democratic victories in the Virginia and New Jersey governors’ races. The consistency of these results suggests Democrats are coalescing a powerful coalition of the very voters that polls have shown are the most disenchanted, even disgusted, by Trump’s performance and behavior as president.

That points to a clear near-term threat in 2018 for Republicans. It also crystallizes the risky long-term trade Trump is imposing on his party: He is improving the GOP’s standing among groups that are almost all shrinking in the electorate, at the price of alienating groups that are growing.

54 years ago Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson & Carol Denise McNair killed by KKK in Birmingham Church Bombing

Today Alabama sent the man who prosecuted their killers to the Senate

The vote has power
