Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

You're on some Roy Moore-level fruit salad, now.

Jared Kushner's legal team is reportedly shopping for a crisis p.r. firm. Last person I can remember doing that in this context was Manafort.

Are you saying the FBI/DOJ did not use information sourced directly from Russia?

they are shopping for it cause obviously they did nothing wrong

and hey, look at hillary!!!!

and the FBI is a LEFT WING COUP ATTEMPT!!!!

I feel like we've been down this road before. It depends entirely on how it was used, if it indeed was. Any answers there?

The Dossier wasn't used to either begin an investigation or to get the FISA warrant? Why even obtain it if it wasn't used? How about the leaking of it? Do you think that had any tangible impact?

The bottom line is that Obamas DOJ and the FBI got information directly from the Russians about the opposition candidate. Whether or not it was used or not is irrelevant to the idea of collusion. This is the weaponization of the full force of the US government to topple a democratic election. This is much worse than if it was just HRC's campaign.

I mean, would that be like if an FBI office opened an "investigation" based on a partisan hit piece, then leaked that indictments were imminent a week before the election, but ultimately nothing happened?

I'd say the FBI would probably be the proper place to go with something like that, given its superficial credibility…just like it would probably be the prudent thing to do to notify the FBI if Russian interests were consistently trying to insinuate themselves in your campaign.

nsacpi was speaking Russian in my car on the phone when I took him to the airport. Was kind of bizarre after reading his posts here. Was not expecting that.

What is up with all the chatter all day about Kushner being indicted today? Even before this crisis management firm story came out? If it is done today, my guess is the reaction from the right will be it's all smoke and mirrors to distract from FBI bias and the winning tax bill.

How about this hypothesis, thethe? It's nut-cutting time for people close to the heart of the investigation so it's time to pull out all the stops to discredit it?

The house oversight committee has been asking for this for months. Since ps was fired. The timing is this only because the fbi was pushing back on requests.

So it's not noteworthy that it was released without the authorization of the DoJ Inspector General's office?
