REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Am I supposed to give up on him? I still stand by everything I said. Let's see what happens when he plays with have of his team.

Wouldn't expect you to give up on him, I would expect you to admit that you and your hyperbole may have prematurely ejaculated, once again.

The Broncos are missing 3 of their top 4 players, and down to a third string center, give me a ****ing break with this ****.

Spoon is good but not like he's Lawrence Taylor.

Reality needs to set in with you. Falcons are thin, and don't have quality backups. Peyton Manning could blast teams in the face without a center, but the one they have is playing good ball. That is a quality replacement level player. There aren't those just knocking on the dome door.

It isn't an excuse, but it happens and should affect expectations.

2013 DYAR rankings through week 3

1. Peyton 653
2. Rivers 416
3. Ryan 314
4. Rodgers 297
5. Stafford 252
6. Brees 190
7. Romo 186
8. Wilson 175
9. Bradford 164
10. Alex Smith 156

Obviously a few guys who shouldbe at the top are struggling (Brady) but I'm totally flabbergasted that Kaepernick isn't number 1. Where is he? Oh wait waaaaay down at 22. KapVP

Niners and Falcons are both at 1-2. So while Ryan has been playing HoF type football..his team is no better than Kaeps.

"niners are the best team in the NFL"- week 1

"we don't have our offense" -week 3, even though week 1 had the same offensive players.....

Vernon Davis played in week 3? I must have completely missed that.

The 2nd best TE in the game, Gronk, is only worth HALF a point....don't think Davis would've saved you.

Also......BYE BYE JOSH FREEMAN........WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT :eusa_dance::eusa_dance::eusa_dance::eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

Brady will go down as one of the best quarterbacks ever. Comparing him and Kaepernick is pointless.

That's not the point.

And wasn't Kap going to be the best QB all time, at least that's what I heard all offseason.

Fact remains good QB's make weapons, not other way around.

Matt Stafford and Tim Tebow say "hi." (see Thomas and CJ)

Thethe, don't worry... the NFL is one of those games that humbles prognosticators the world over. A team can go worst to first with just a few breaks one way or the other. Plus, its not like Zito's record for calling performance is any good either.

I'm not worried. 49ers just need to make the palyoffs and I'm sure they will. Then they hopefully will have a healthy Crabtree/Davis/Manningham to go along with a motivated SOBER Smith. Kaep has hit a rough patch but right now his options are extremely limited. He will be fine and I still feel the same way about his future.
