The Trump Presidency

No wonder The Don's trying to get the cease and desist. Bookstores going to be selling them a few days early now. LOL

It seems that way because you make remarks like: "How many aggressive and destructive foreign policy fiascos has NK entered into in the last 25 years? Whose the bully?"

And so I wonder if you have forgotten (or are choosing to ignore to try and make a [ludicrous] point) the ~7+ international crises North Korea has sparked over the past 25 years. I wonder if you are aware of the 25 million North Koreans who are legitimately starving because their leader would rather devote precious resources to his fledgling nuclear weapons program. What about the 50 million South Koreans, our (extremely ****ing valuable) allies, who still have mandatory conscription, still have a capital city a few miles away from 1 million landmines, and are having trouble selling apartments in their sparkling new Lotte tower because international money doesn't want to invest in what could be a glorious bit of target practice.

I could go on ... the earthquakes ... the Japanese ... the Chinese ... the Russians

But yeah, let's not raise a stink about North Korea's nuclear weapons program. Let's turn a blind eye to the propaganda which specifically promises missiles capable of reaching Washington, DC or New York City. Let's ignore specific threats to US territories (Guam) and states (Hawaii).

Let's forget that Kim Jong-un killed his own brother with sarin nerve gas (outlawed) in Malaysia (foreign soil). Let's forget Juche. Let's forget that Kim is a lunatic who executes his political and personal enemies with anti-aircraft weapons.

North Korea has attacked South Korea twice in the past decade. Attacked. Shelled populated islands. Blown up submarines full of soldiers.

Unanswered.

But yeah, let's just 'downplay' these 'taunts'. Because it's all we have ever done. I think the de facto creed for Barack Obama's foreign policy agenda was "downplay reality".
Small potatoes, small potatoes, and small potatoes. No pun intended.

The submarine attack happened in '67, 50 years ago. The deal in Malaysia was on his half brother, fratricide, not genocide. Calling it "a sarin attack" is misleading. It was an assassination. Very bad indeed, killing one of their own and further ingraining their already terrible international reputation. Politically it was a Win for the world and a double loss for NK.

The nuclear tests? I agree. Btw, how many bombs did the U.S. detonate in the South Pacific? The Bikini and Marshall Islands folks are still living in a radioactive dumpsite.

Military conscription? Boo hoo. Maybe the U.S. should have it. The Lotte Tower? Okay. Now you made me laugh.

The humanitarian crisis in NK is apparently real, but I say again, what are you going to do about it? International sanctions are at least partially causing the starvation, just like they were meant to. The country has been weakened through sanctions, isolated internationally and their militarization slowed to a crawl. They are using all their resources for a few pieces of weaponry that may very well already be obsolete.

The Iraq War fiasco weakened America's military might and has rendered us incapable of launching another anytime soon.

Yes, they're a rogue state and their every move should be monitored vigilantly, as I said. But short of rolling in the tanks, which we don't have, or putting a mushroom cloud over them, the options are limited.

Publicly and officially downplay the taunts when you can, and increase international condemnation when you can't. This is always the best option. Covertly you do everything you can to find the launch sites and bunkers. I believe they launch from public airports.

String them along. Maybe offer some humanitarian aide to ease the pressure. Here's an idea: send them a boatload of crappy American food and let them deal with obesity and diabetes.

"the Japanese ... the Chinese ... the Russians" .... please continue. ....should meet with what's left of our crippled State Dept. and collectively decide what to do about the NK situation? That would be hilarious. Do you really want a President Trump anywhere near a serious international peace negotiation???

Your view on this issue is pure partisan cheerleading, hypercritical on Obama while fantasizing that Trump isn't a bumbling bafoon. Obama was very proactive in seeking out terror leadership. A few hundred drone strikes and his capture of Bin Laden say he was aware of that reality.

Yes, string them along, please. Send them some vending machines.

Oh the Irony!

"Fire and Fury" Claims that Trump didn't understand the Constitution

& had an aide explain it to him but he quickly got bored & rolled his eyes.

Now Trump is trying to stop the book from being published,

a direct violation of the 1st Amendment of the Constitution!

Trump doesn't know the constitution???

And this is supposedly different from the previous 10 Presidents?

The coward was so scared of questions he video conferenced a press briefing

That and I'm guessing he is lazy as ****

Yeah, none of the last 10 presidents taught constitutional law. Oh, right, except the last guy.

I've never seen anything that compellingly demonstrates that Trump even fundamentally understands how the government works.

Ignorance and ignoring, while fundamentally different, have the same result.

If you want to make the case that Obama governed by constitutional restraints, you're welcome to. But you'd be wrong again.

Does that hurt your feelings? Those athletes should not be kneeling. We bitch about America and yet there are real injustices in the world. I wonder how the Iranian people who are being killed in the street feel about people complaining about rights.

wow

to get from A to say F in this what aboutism

is astonishing

haha, yeah, born into weath

i really should stop going to work i guess

love yall's theories

Lol. Again.

You said "doesn't know the Constitution."
