Did the engineer say women can't be engineers? If so, please point out the quote. Facts matter... and what you posted was posted as a fact so I assume you'll be able to back it up

i was talking directly to someone else and used that quote to tie it back to the other quote

but that **** the google idiot posted is saying they are less likely to be engineers cause they are women etc

have fun going 12 rounds of "that isn't what he is saying".

it's like any other field where women have struggled to enter pass the guarded gates of the all knowing and wise white male

That's what you focus on? There is much research out there that absolutely supports Damures statement. It's not sexist. It's fact. Doesn't mean women can't be engineers but there will be less in the pool to select from. Are there issues about society not pushing these fields? Absolutely. Even with that there are reasons why men are more mathematically inclined. It's much more nature than nurture.

The google memo was a rational and thoughtful discussion on how we are trying to social engineer equality in this country... it was fitting that he pleaded Google to listen to other ideas outside of the groupthink, only to get fired.

Was he right about everything? I don't think so. But it was a respectful commentary that should have brought on a rational discussion if forcing equality in certain fields is the right approach.

Instead, you get fake news goldy saying he said women can't be engineers.

Interestingly enough, I was talking about that with my boss and she said females were way underrepresented in tech in our company. We're currently at about 68-32 male to female in our tech organization.

But when we looked at the application data, we saw that 82% of applicants were men.

Even with this data, she still said our company was sexist by not having equality on our tech team.

Not much else to say... the left cannot deal with logic and reason anymore. Just emotion
 
states rights is the most fun of seeing where they apply it

Florida saying they don't want drilling and the orange one etc take it off the table for them

California doesn't want it, they are still gonna open it up

Ok, sure, but he was asked if he supported a clean DACA bill and the answer was yes, but actually no. It was an extremely clumsy stab at expressing what you were able to say quite succinctly. He doesn't support a clean DACA bill, so it's not exactly "blunted simplicity" to say "well, I do, but I define a clean bill as something quite apart from what the world understands a clean bill to be, so no."

And this is what we're supposed to be impressed by. Like SAV said: low bar.
