The Trump Presidency

By government intervention. Which is about the most extreme tool of regulation the government can bring to bear .

Again - When you are essentially the most powerful institutions in the world and influence actual thought of the citizens there needs to be a different set of rules. The power that FB/Google/Twitter/Youtube hold over the world is unprecedented.

I realize that you think that this is a great laugh line, but when you're talking about Medicaid recipients, you really are talking about people who live on the margins, whose lives can be significantly impacted--and shortened or ended--by the cost of access to care. It's not funny.

I have a strange feeling they won't be impacted. Wanna take a bet?

Meanwhile, if you don't want to get mocked, you should probably tell your lefty friends that not everything Republicans enact will result in the death of America via Armageddon

Pathetic

Indeed. Nominal progressives should be seeing a lot more pressure (both during primaries and beyond) from the actual left, in the hopes they'll at least think twice before unflinchingly supporting garbage like this.

It's not a matter of will they or won't they be impacted. It's a condition that currently exists, and has been exacerbated by the political games that have been played with Medicaid.

And I'm not suggesting Armageddon. Just a simple tragedy, repeated unnecessarily in a nation of extreme wealth.

While its not ideal for a President to say what Trump said I highly doubt anyone is willing to move to the countries which were defined as ****holes. Its nice to have a President that speaks the truth.

This point has been brought up numerous times to counter why actions/policies are 'wrong'. Why do you think we are a nation of extreme wealth? Since you'll wordsmith a response that I am clearly not capable of I will speak in simple terms. We are wealthy because we do not engage in socialistic/Marxist policies that bankrupt nations.

Or how about just expecting such an integral part of our society not censor opposition voices. I know - Crazy ideas.

The idea that they're actually censoring Trump supporters seems fairly undercut by all the ****ing tweets by Trump supporters.

There are many ways to censor. You can for instance 'suggest' people to follow. You can demonetize videos because of their content. You can alter search engine algorithms to not return certain content. All of which has been all but proven at this point.

Are you trying to deny that this is not happening?
