I meant anything could happen.

From two wins by us, one loss by them, then Sunday is meaningless and they could rest everyone.

I stand by it they will sweep though.

I knew it was too good to be true. Have you atleast given up on the Nats winning the division yet?
 
If St. Louis sweeps, I'm suspending Heyward until the NLDS begins, just for saying they probably would, but unsure they would and not confident they would.
 
I still think (more sure after tonight) that we take 2 of 3 from the Phils and Stl taking 2 of 3 from the Cubs. I think our loss comes tonight vs Lee.

Definitely the toughest game.

Let's hope Meds keeps dealing but he seems to struggle vs Philly for whatever reason.
 
Just looked at the Cubs/Stl pitching match-ups. They aren't that bad.

Friday:
Wood vs Lynn

Saturday:
Jackson vs Kelly

Sunday:
Samardzja vs Wainwright

Not awful. Interesting that Wainwright is pitching on Sunday considering he wouldn't be able to start Game 1 of the LDS. However, if we clinch HFA prior to Sunday I bet they don't throw Wainwright.

The Cubs will take at least one of these games vs Stl. We just need to take care of business as well. If we could beat Lee tomorrow night I think we get HFA.

I see the Cards probably taking 2 out of 3 if not sweeping. They're playing really good baseball right now while we've struggled this month. With that said, it's not a foregone conclusion and I agree that the pitching sets up where the Cubs could win a game or two.
 
I thin kI read somewhere the Braves get 3 days off before the NLDS. True? If so, that verges on rust inducing time off.
