The Trump Presidency

It actually isn't racial at all.

The same types of peope like the lady that asked McCain if Obama was an arab muslim are the same types of people that would hear Hussein and think Obama and Saddam have ties. Or hearing the name Hussein had a negative connotation associated with the man our country previously went to war with. Youre completely ignorant if you couldn't see what Palin was doing towards the end of the campaign.

I don't care about ignorant people and their views. The fact is the comment is not racial at all.

It's a play from the same playbook. It implies something that's not true in order to stoke xenophobic fears. While it's a fairly common Machiavellian technique that's been used to control people for centuries, I suspect Palin was/is a true believer. We have reached a point in American politics where people who have been subjected to constant onslaught of anti-progressive propaganda for decades are now serving in elected positions and still have the temerity to call Obama an "American hating radical leftist". I don't think a person or even a country can come back from this level of delusion/hate without a major upheaval.

If you don't think harping on Obama's middle name at a political rally to a bunch of white people has a strong racial element to it then you're the ignorant one, or just being disingenuous. Part of me still holds out that it's the latter.

Yeah the problem is anti progressive agenda. Propaganda only comes from the side that believes in traditional American values. You said the country needs a major upheaval because people don't agree with your ideas. You might as well be Oprah and say white people just need to die. And we are the problem. Sure thing.

It's an acknowledgement that he never had America's interest at heart. Africans have felt the wrath of Islam more than whites (aside from Israel). They have every reason to hate those that follow this sick ideology. But it's cool though...Obama can be buddy buddy with the leader of the nation of islam. The proof will just be hidden by a complicit media.

Can someone explain why the Democrats are rejecting this immigration plan? Also, can someone help articulate what the Democrats want for immigration?

The exact same could be asked of the far right who now want to call the Wall Builder "Amnesty Don."

Let me guess? They're all criminals who will destroy our country.

A plan has been proposed by the white house that has been rejected by democratic leadersip. So what's the counter?

I suspect we will find out soon. That Stephen Miller was purportedly behind it is warning sign No. 1. If they don't have a counter, then yes, that's going to look awful on them because we'll be right back to where we were with shutdown politics.

Trump wanted a deal. Senators from both parties brought him a deal he was eager to hear. The far right flipped out. And they're flipping out now at this "incredibly generous" proposal. That tells you something.
