Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

So we are supposed to simultaneously believe that Trump has had financial arrangements with Russia for decades but needed papa to open the conversation up for collusion. Jesus you guys are grasping at nothing.

Simpson didn't even believe there was enough evidence to give to the fbi. You are just regurgitating what the left wants you to. And before you say the same about me remember what Simpson said in his testimony.

But a former British spy and Russia expert did think the FBI should see it.

Is that a serious question? Jesus Christ.

And if you want to talk about grasping at straws and regurgitating what someone wants you to believe, I think you're entirely the wrong spokesman for it.

Basically the same article as I posted above but from Foreign Policy, who gets a least biased rating from Media Bias Fact Check.

Trump Launched Campaign to Discredit Potential FBI Witnesses

The president targeted three bureau officials who could provide key testimony in the Mueller probe.

President Donald Trump pressed senior aides last June to devise and carry out a campaign to discredit senior FBI officials after learning that those specific employees were likely to be witnesses against him as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, according to two people directly familiar with the matter.

But a former British spy and Russia expert did think the FBI should see it.

Of course he's going to be partial to his own source material. But an 'independent' expert who reviewed the material did not believe it should be trusted to provide as 'proof'. And when the FISA court records are revealed America will see that the only thing this whole mess was built on was flimsy financial contacts with 'Russians'. Congratulations!

As I've written before, the publicly available information portrays an intricate dance in which the Russians and Trump campaign seem to have reached an understanding that led to a quid pro quo of sorts.

We have the Russians via the "adoption lawyer" and "Maltese professor" reaching out to see if the Trump campaign was interested in any dirt they could provide on Hillary. The Trump campaign seems to have encouraged various parties to travel to Moscow, Budapest and Athens to explore the terms of any quid pro quo.

Some interesting questions remain to be answered.

Was Peter W Smith acting as a cutout for the Trump campaign. Were there other cutouts. People like Flynn, Bannon and Clovis are in a position to answer these questions.

Did Manafort or others acting on behalf of the campaign arrange for payments to the hackers, possibly via shell companies. Rick Gates potentially could provide some information on this matter.

Did Cambridge Analytica share data on voter targeting with the Russians? I imagine if this happened, it will in due course be discovered.

The above pertain directly to the issue of whether there was a conspiracy between the campaign and the Russians.

There are two other matters that I believe are an even greater danger to Trump: financial ties with Russians or Russian controlled entities that pre-date the campaign and that likely entail criminal activity and financial dependency on those entities, and secondly, an attempt to obstruct the investigation by asking Comey to drop the matter and then firing him when he failed to drop the investigation.

He wasn't selling it and he did not present it as 'proof' of anything. Only that he thought the FBI should look into it seriously.

Trump fired Comey for being too hard on Hillary Clinton.

If President Trump's denial of the reports he tried to

fire Robert Mueller are not true, would that be grounds for impeachment?

Ken Starr tells @MarthaRaddatz,

"I take lying to the American people very, very seriously. So, absolutely."

So we have a memo on the FISA warrant set to be released soon and McCabe resigns. Are the two related?
