Marcy Wheeler has done a lot of clear-eyed reporting on the Russia issue and has kept a very restrained and skeptical stance towards big-picture collusion questions. That's an interesting statement from her.

A signpost to where we are right now is that Captain Benghazi himself, Trey Gowdy, was apparently a voice for restraint and appropriate oversight in the flap over the memo. Argued for letting DOJ review it and has apparently been undercut by Nunes.

I read that article in The Atlantic a few days ago. It was interesting, with a provocative build up, but ultimately fizzled in presumption.
