Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

We still going to hear about the germans? Must kill you that Trump is going to be exonerated.

LOL.

That ship has sailed long ago. Trump will survive one way of the other, but the judgment is already in. He has been grossly negligent and incompetent in his action and in allowing the appearance of corruption, whether he's guilty of anything or not. It's been amateur hour with him since he took office and nothing will surprise me, not even his face ending up of Mr. Rushmore.

Lost in the political fray is just how sad this whole memo/FBI/DoJ fiasco is. Regardless of who comes out of this with more points on the scoreboard, a huge amount of trust has been lost.

Deutsche über alles

To quote one of Donaldo's minions: "This is all about money laundering."

"It goes through Deutsche Bank and all the Kushner stuff," said minion adds. "The Kushner **** is greasy. They're going to go right through that."

"Their path to Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr. and Jared Kushner."

Said minion also observes the following about the Donaldo White House for how ill-prepared it is to take on Mueller's team: "They're sitting on a beach trying to stop a Category Five."

Maybe he is part of the deep state cabal fantasizing about what is about to become of Donaldo. But I don't think so.

If Trumps next 7 years is anything like the first then he will deserve a place on Mt Rushmore.

The minion that betrayed him because he thought that he could be the President.

Ultimately, what has happened were alleged 'process' crimes' in response to an investigation that will be proven to have grossly negligent process crimes. How convenient. Sounds like an insurance policy to me.

They had to present it because it was discovered. If not then we would have had a huge crisis on our hands even more than what we have now. Did you want yhem to not say anything? Maybe if they did an actual investigation they would have located these emails long before but the fbi decided to exonerate Clinton well before the investigation was concluded. I mean we have actual message's with the lead agent saying they were not going to go hard on her. And this opinion piece is supposed to squash that obvious bias m ok, whatever makes you feel better st the end of the day.

The new York office had to get involved because it was obvious to any objective expert what the senior leadership of the fbi did and we will learn more and more as the months pass

No I didn't want them to keep the discovery concealed from the brass.

My point is there is no Hillary conspiracy. As Rudy has let us know, it's far more likely if there was a conspiracy it was the other way around. And if there was a Hillary conspiracy, then that involved turning on her at the most pivotal moment and sinking her. It may be an opinion piece but everything he references is factual.

Lost in the political fray is just how sad this whole memo/FBI/DoJ fiasco is. Regardless of who comes out of this with more points on the scoreboard, a huge amount of trust has been lost.

And the primary, overwhelming reason for this is how these rabid Republicans have sought to undermine a serious investigation for political means. They've chosen party and self-interests over country.

This single post disqualifies you completely from being taken seriously in this thread. One major legislative accomplishment without its long-term effects known. Put him on Rushmore! What a ****ing joke.

Roaring economy
Finally strengthening the border
Defeated the physical caliphate after it was allowed to flourish for years under Obama
Tax Legislation giving more power to the peope
Locking up pedophile rings all over the country (very underreported thus far)

And there are many other you will scoff at but because you have been in your echo chamber you don't realize just how successful of a year Trump had.

No conspiracy but they wrote an exoneration letter before she was interviewed? WOW - That is partisanship at its core.

It was Obama that chose party over country by allowing HRC to get off because he wanted his agenda to continue.

We are now putting country over all else because nobody should be above the law.

I guess Mount Rushmore will have a special section for process criminals.

They announced a reopening into the investigation 11 days out from the election, an unprecedented move, after they had already been looking through the newly discovered emails, and found nothing. So these conspiracists, at the most critical moment, dug the knife in her back essentially. So were they that dumb? Yeah, some conspiracy.

There is a part of this article that I find especially interesting. It notes:

"Some lawyers and witnesses who have sat in or been briefed on the interviews have puzzled over Mr. Mueller’s interest in the episode. Lying to federal investigators is a crime; lying to the news media is not."

Yet Mueller has taken great interest in this episode and Corallo quit because of concerns he had witnessed an obstruction of justice. But lying to the press is not a crime. So did something happen besides the construction of a lie to the press. The article hints at the possible answer. Was there a discussion between Hope Hicks, Trump and others about making sure the email did not emerge? My understanding is that there were quite a few people on the plane in a position to witness such an event. Many of them have already been interviewed by Mueller. Moreover text messages were being exchanged during the whole process. I assume Mueller has those text messages.

The loss of trust encompasses more than just the Mueller investigation, and I think it's clear at this point that there is plenty of blame to go around.

In January 2013, Mr. Page was in New York at an Asia Society event on China and energy development, when he met Victor Podobnyy, a junior attaché at the Russian consulate in New York City who was in the audience, Mr. Page told the House Intelligence Committee last fall.

In March 2013, Mr. Page met with Mr. Podobnyy again over coffee or a Coke, he told the House panel in his testimony. Mr. Page, asked why he had sought out Mr. Podobnyy a second time, said he wanted to practice his Russian.

Can't make this stuff up.

That June, three years before the 2016 presidential campaign and the creation of the dossier, Mr. Page had his first known brush with a U.S. counterintelligence official. He was interviewed by FBI counterintelligence agent Gregory Monaghan and another FBI agent, who were investigating whether Mr. Podobnyy was a Russian intelligence agent, according to a criminal complaint.
