I'm expecting him to change his mind at the last moment and declare it too sensitive to be released, followed by a group of proxies declaring it to be a gracious and responsible decision by the President to put national security concerns ahead of his own political interests. The same people will then talk at length about how damaging the memo would have been to the FBI, how it laid bare their partisan shenanigans, and end up providing nearly as much cover as the memo would have provided while also getting Trump those "hurdled the low bar" points. As a poster on the baseball side says, it makes too much sense not to happen.
 
I think you may wind up being right. Even though it exposes these calls for full transparency as the bull**** that they are, the base will follow along. The memo has already accomplished what these people wanted it to.

Of course he might just use its secrecy as a cover to fire Rosenstein.

Then when people demand answers why, he can say the memo is too sensitive.

At this point we don't even need the memo. Based on everything that has been said we pretty much know what was in it. The Obama admin used a Democratically funded opposition research document to spy on an opposition candidate. And then to cover their tracks they fabricated a collusion narrative. Any American that is ok with this is a disgrace to what this country was built on.

Dude, Carter Page popped up on the radar screen of counterintelligence way back in 2013. The Russians he interacted with were asked to leave the country in 2015. He has offered vague, misleading and inconsistent accounts of his interactions with Russians, including those in 2016. There were solid grounds for keeping tabs on him. But...dossier dossier deep state deep state witch hunt witch hunt stock market maga....
 
Why were they denied a FISA warrant originally? And then how did they overcome that to get the FISA warrant the next time?

Part of the FBI's abuse of power was the acquisition of a superpower potion of being able to predict the future. They knew Page would be tied to future-candidate Trump.
