I feel the need to point out that tear gas riot police use on protesters would be considered a war crime if used in a war. Wrap your heads around that. I remember one protest where people brought some stuff in spray bottles to counteract the pepper spray and mace and the cops freaked out saying they had unknown chemicals that could be used to harm an officer. All the meanwhile actually dousing people with mace and tear gas. Cowards.
