Lot more articles like that and 57/Runnin don't like it because of their slave master mentality that blacks should be Dems and we should know our role or stay in our lane.

To your first point.

I don't think I have ever said or thought people of color should be (D)

They seem to have found their way there on their own after 1968 .
Wouldn't 1968 be the year (R) implemented a Southern Strategy that to this day targeted who because of what ...
I don't feel the need to tell indigenous Alaskans they should wear hats either

States rights
and economic anxiety

Meditate on those words

To your links:

I remember back to 2010 when these articles were being written about LBGT and environmental groups . Because they were disatisfied Obama didn't part the water on their behalf in his first two years.
People didn't vote in that election because of the same issues.
They felt ignored. Everybody is fighting for a piece of the pie.
(R) has no such problem. So picking on (D) for dissatisfaction within the caucus is like shooting fish in a barrel

a show of good faith might be to show some interest in inner city water / infrastructure.

Or is that too identity politics ?

Perhaps lose the derisive phrase "identity politics"

then perhaps everyday people might see how this glorious tide rises all boats

Or you know, quit referring to African country's and other places populated with non Caucasians as ****holes

I agree the first part needs to be addressed.

Third world countries are generally ****holes. You can be mad at Trump all you want but he isnt wrong about that. I dont care who is offended. Maybe they should grow up and realize Trump calling their country a ****hole in a private meeting in no way impacts their life.

This x100

But the left needs to use more of these rallying cries because they lose on the issues every time.

I disagree that third world countries are ****hole places because they don't have a Starbucks and a McDonalds on every corner, or whatever western convenience they lack. But the implication from the original comment was that the people from these less affluent geographies are somehow less than and I disagree with that even more. I hope these countries don't become satellite tourists stops for the west.

If we try to lift them up we are accused of 'imperialism" or if we let the despots keep control they will remain **** holes through their barbarity.

You have to take a stand somewhere. So the statement is true. Those countries can lift themselves up if they let us help them but until then they remain **** holes.

Ever been to South Boston or the Piney Woods of New Jersey ?

Harlan County Kentucky ?

Good number of places in West Virginia - Appalachia ?
What about the states overrun with opiod destruction -- opiod epidemic is for the most part a Caucasian disease --- have those areas been referred to Presidentialy as schittholes.

Kind of selective denunciation.
What seperates Trumps schittholes from these others ?

What do you define as "lift them up" ?

One of the few things Bush 43 did that I'd applaud is addressing AIDS on the African Continent.
People politicize the Clinton Foundation but look at their work . Internationally applauded work

We have decimated our foreign aid programs .
My guess is yes corruption is an issue but ...

That is what we are hearing about Puerto Rico --

If there weren't some variant of a warlord/druglord running so many areas of these places, the idea of living in a third world country would really appeal to me. Simpler, quieter, and more connected with really important things. We could learn a lot from them.

Very few people have any idea of just how bleak the rural, not yet gentrified parts of Appalachia really are. It's probably worse than Indian reservations.

That's only because they're isolated and the people living there often have no source of income. Not every place is supposed to be a bustling hub of opportunity. Take away the run down shacks and the mountains become beautiful again, except for the places where the coal mines have raped and left destroyed.

Ok, tell me which country Trump called a ****hole that you thinks not and I will tell you why it is. Also want to let you know I consider my home state to be a ****hole. I can't think of a worst state in the union to live in.

The Wild and Wonderful Whites if West Virginia really put that into perspective. That’s a damn good documentary that I recommend to everyone.

I think you forgot about the lack of clean potable water, indoor plumbing and air conditioning.

Friend of mine from El Salvador told me years ago in his hometown you have to pay the local drug gang to leave or they murder your family.

As hard as it is to believe, congressional Republicans were on their way to a retreat in West Virginia when their train hit a garbage truck:

It's almost like Congress is stuck in a final destination movie. The mass shooting. Rand Paul getting speared. Now their train hits a truck. If one of them gets hit by lightning in the near future I might have to reevaluate the existence of a god.
