Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

I'm sure Manfortov is asking himself this question: How do we use this to get whole?

His finances are a shambles. I suspect the drain from the legal expenses are a big problem. Trump might or might not pardon him for federal crimes. But he is on the hook for state crimes and the attorney generals in New York and Maryland are eager to get at him. It seems to me his best options involve a lucrative book deal (I would certainly buy it) and making a deal with Mueller.

The Facebook vp said that the overwhelming majority of the spend was after the campaign and the impact has been greatly overstated. In relation to other social media campaigns tell he russia interference is a drop in the bucket. I get you want to make it out to be pearl Harbor but the actual numbers show this was a miniscule effect. The indictment said the goal was discord and not helping trump.

So again, until muEller proves that the dnc hack was carried out by Russians I don't see what the trump campaign benefitted from.

I suppose the real question is why hasn't muEller been able to prove that? Shouldn't that have been close to step 1. Consideration received in exchange for other consideration? Sounds pretty basic to me.

Mock it all you want but Assange has said the source wasn't russia. Did he not know if his source was a derivation of russia? Maybe but Assanges word is as good as anybody right now since everyone is a liar.

You know my stance. Seth rich was a berne supporter. Saw the corruption at the DNC and wanted to show the country. So yeah, I'll take that bet with you.

Professor Mifsud did say something about the Russians having thousands of emails

there is a semi plausible line of defense available to Trump...Manafortov did it...i can also see why Trump might not want to go there

Manafortov was compromised in so many different ways when hired as campaign manager. The evidence suggests he orchestrated a quid pro quo that included the party platform on Ukraine and private briefings on Trump sanctions policy. The big question is whether he was freelancing or part of a conspiracy.

Most of the investigation into Manafortov was not even done by Mueller. It was an ongoing investigation even before he joined Trump.

Why haven't we been given proof for Russia hacking the dnc yet?

Seriously, though? My guess is because it's evidence in an ongoing criminal investigation and will not be made public until charges are brought or the investigation is otherwise closed.

You can keep on bringing up that Facebook VP. He walked back several statements and acknowledged there was a clear favoring of Trump. You honestly can't expect to be taken seriously anymore if you can't acknowledge there are at minimum serious questions of Trump's judgement at play here. At bare minimum.

Hmm....can't imagine why he would have walked back that statement. Could it be his employer made him? He just made up those statements?

Hiring Manafort proves that trump makes bad mistakes I agree with that.

Why did the DNC prevent the physical servers to be inspected?

Joy Reid got retweeted by Russians = holy Christ on a cracker.

These crooks in Trump campaign and no real explanation for why they were where they were. Nothing to see here. They haven't spilled their whole case to the public so they have nothing.

Sure...good defense. You know deep down that if it was Russia we would have known by now.

The Director of National Intelligence and the other senior intelligence and national security personnel appointed by Trump have supported the conclusion. Six people were sanctioned in December as actual perpretrators. It's not a vague accusation, and it's spitting in the wind to think that we won't know the rest of the story.

The guy was called out on Twitter and acknowledged it on the spot. It was pretty obvious the VP of a company was trying to downplay said company's lack of oversight on a lot of this.

Do you have any curiosity whatsoever about Trump's Moscow trip in 2013 and the lies about not being in contact with Putin and his people? I mean you seem to be well versed in Seth Rich conspiracies when even Hannity had to back off that.

We still need to know what trump received from Russia. At thus point he got nothing based on what has been proven.

So no proof yet?
