Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

I'm interested to see if it played a role in McCabe stepping down. Or as Don Jr. calls it, fired.

I'm also interested to see if it will address the conduct of the FBI in October 2016, why the discovery of the emails on Weiner's laptop wasn't immediately relayed to Comey and why Rudy G. was on Fox News three days before Comey's Oct. 28 announcement saying there were a couple more surprises on the way (all the while he'd been talking continuously about the fervent anti-Hillary anger and sense of betrayal at the bureau that she wasn't being charged).

Sure - Lets discuss all of this.

Not sure you want to hold your hat on this as the FBI as a whole proved to be negligent in the HRC e-mail investigation. But, if you want to open up that can of worms to the public I'd love it. All it does is make the FBI look terrible and strengthens the case that collusion is a fiction.

Most people on the left were confident Hillary would win. That's not arrogance. Michael Moore and others were much less sure of her victory.

Trump said he could shoot a person down in the street and get away with it. That's arrogance. He attacked the FBI while knowing that he's dirty through and through. That's arrogance. Meanwhile, a judge just ordered Trump to pay over $ 5 million for trying to scam fees from golf club members when he is already a billionaire. That's arrogance.

Somebody call the WAAAAAAMBULANCE!

Well we will see won't we? That is some grade A self loathing to plot for a woman they hated.

Since my writing sucks I'll paste this here which captures one of the main points I made:

The first thing to notice here is the epistemological contortions by which the DOJ rationalized concealing that the Clinton campaign and the DNC paid for Steele’s reporting. They ooze consciousness of guilt. If you have to go through these kinds of mental gymnastics to avoid disclosing something, it’s because you know that being “transparent” demands disclosing it.

This in an interesting take:

When the FBI and DOJ apply for a FISA warrant, they must convince the court that surveillance — a highly intrusive tactic by which the government monitors all of an American citizen’s electronic communications — is necessary because the foreign-intelligence information the government seeks “cannot reasonably be obtained by normal investigative techniques.” (See FISA, Section 1804(a)(6)(C) of Title 50, U.S. Code.) Normal investigative techniques include interviewing the subject. There are, of course, situations in which such alternative investigative techniques will inevitably fail — a mafia don or a jihadist is not likely to sit down with FBI agents and tell them everything he knows. But Carter Page was not only likely to do so, he had a documented history of providing information to the FBI.

Bigger words, same tired thinking.

Just as I'm not surprised you aren't concerned about the dossier included in the FISA application I'm not surprised you don't care about how the funding source was excluded. At some point I hope you can look in the mirror and admit youve already decided what happened.

But I mean if the author is up for comparing "consciousness of guilt" and "mental gymnastics," then by all means.

That is pretty direct actually. Effectively th claim is that the fbi is aware how damaging it is the source of the funding for the report was HRC and the DNC. Therefore, they had to go through hoops to hide that information.

Another point I find interesting is the insistence that fusion GPS is never directed by their clients as to the research. This idea was hammered in the Simpson testimony via gowdy. My guess is that if any information is uncovered whereby fusion was effectively told what to find this whole thing blows up. Schiff is doing his very best to combat that idea.

Want to look together? You've still not pointed to where this was required or where power was abused. But I don't blame you. Neither have these lackeys who are devoted to protecting Trump. I'm glad the justice system doesn't work the way you apparently think it should. If informants couldn't be "biased," I'm sure the crime rate would be a lot higher.

And before I go and read this piece, does the author concede, which you won't or don't care, that Steele didn't know who he was working for and that the dossier info was corroborated by a lot more info/sources?
