April 14 not April 13

My guess is better (lol). I say, no.

Yea, I’d imagine the Tucker-plus platoon performing passably well for a couple weeks could give them justification for holding Acuña down further, with an eye to the Super Two cutoff. Of course, Acuña could go down and slash .500/.750/1.000 and make all excuses moot.

No decision on Acuna has anything to do with Preston Tucker.

I’m not so sure. If tucker carries his ST success into the season and the Braves are playing well, I could see AA trying to hold up acuna. With that said, I am pretty much clueless when it comes to service time. When is the next date we gain more control?

April 15th 2019

if it's 14th and not 13, that's in the middle of a series. they will prob def wait until the next home series if i had to guess. womp

But The Super Two cutoff is relevant, though it would mean holding Acuña down through May.

It’s relevant, but also carries a lot of variability. I’m not entirely certain you are safe holding him through May. I don’t think there’s a chance it’s a consideration the Braves make barring injury.

It seems like 65 days is the safe cutoff, so sometime in the first week of June. I agree it’s long enough that it’s unlikely barring a combination of very good performance from the platoon and surprisingly bad performance or injury for Acuña in AAA.
