Can't really control Jason getting hit in the face. Cards also got super hot in September so they deserve their fair share of credit. Going 19-8 in September is taking care of business, both in the division and for the lead.

That and our recent history with the cards is the reason I want no part of them in the playoffs. They always seem to find a way to win against the Braves.

Yeah, at the beginning of the year, I had us between 92-96 wins, so they met my expectations in that regard.
It pisses me off to think how many we could have won without all the offensive injuries, Huddy, EOF going down, Venters not even pitching and if BJ/Uggla had managed to be halfway competent for most of the season.

We did squander it. St. Louis went 19-8 and still only won best record by 1 game. However, it's not the end of the world though, October is a new month and the playoffs are a whole new ballgame.
