Don't know how or if Cohen gets back to Vova, honestly (other than maybe his Ukrainian "peace" proposal or the Steele allegations that he was a go-between, the latter I can't really credit without supporting evidence) but the number of levers that have to be pushed to do this kind of thing point to something of substance being on the other side.

In the annals of the intersection between the Presidency and the criminal justice system, this strikes me as potentially a pretty big deal.
