I really wish we had Price or someone like him. I think Teheran has the best shot. He's a pup still. Someone who can gut out a CG like that.

Medlen could gut out a CG like that, the problem is Fredi never gives him a chance. If Price pitched for Fredi, and he gave up that double to Kinsler in the 8th, Fredi is calling for an arm in the pen asap.

Maddon lets him go out there and finish. Granted, it's the AL so Price doesn't have to hit and Maddon doesn't have to worry about maybe double switching.

Maddon is the strangest manager in the bigs. I think he does a great job, but I was listening to a game in July or August against the Twins and the guy was managing like it was the 7th game of the World Series (and Tampa Bay was winning big) doing the lefty-lefty/righty-righty thing.

Big thing here is Price is an absolute horse.
 
rangers had great numbers vs Saunders last year and Price this year... goes to show you can throw out any numbers once the playoffs start

They locked up Longoria but can't afford Price, he's got one year left on his contract. They'll trade him for a young, controllable bat (see Will Myers for Shields) if they can. Otherwise, big $$$.

Don't count on getting him either way.

Yeah he lets Price go but has been pulling other starters in innings 2-4 and using 8 RP's a game thanks to the expanded rosters. I'd love to see a GDT with him managing the Braves. I'd be crazy.

Also those 4 hour games would get really old.
 
Rooting hard for the Pirates tonight. Bryce Harper wasnt even alive the last time they made the playoffs. Would love to face them in the NLCS again.
