Whether it makes sense or not, I find it hard to believe that Snitker will move Ender out of the leadoff spot for more than a few days until he snaps out of it. Not saying I don't understand the temptation though.

Dansby's hit well enough to deserve to be moved up, but having him down in the 6th, 7th, or 8th hole has actually helped - not having 3 black holes at the bottom of the lineup has been a big help in the good start to the season since opposing Pitchers haven't been able to take a long breath after getting through Tucker.

The excitement over Camargo getting back is a little puzzling. He’s unlikely to produce anything that Flaherty hasn’t. I view that one as not a particularly portentous promotion.

Camargo could give the braves the best IF defense in mlb

I'm not really getting it either. Doesn't walk a ton (Career 6.6 BB% in the minors) His K rate isn't bad but for his power and BB rate it isn't that good (Career 13.4 K% in the minros)

I think he tops off as a Yangervis Solarte or Eduardo Nunez type. Not a bad guy to have around at all. But hardly a game changer.

The one thing that bothers me a bit about the analysis of young players is that the conclusions never predict a breakout. When a player has a substantial body of work in their 20's in the major leagues then I could live with a result that says Camargo isn't anything. However, we have seen a surge in his power the last two years and his contact profile was always solid. Couple that with his good defense at third and you have a much more sustainable positive force than Flahrety.

This is like saying whats the big deal with bringing up Acuna. Could he possibly produce more than Tucker already has? Of course not - Its just a better bet that he outproduces Tucker moving forward.

Ryan flaherty career stats:
1318 PA
.221/.291/.358
foWAR = -31.5
fdWAR = 7.2
fWAR = 2.0

So you and southcack think RF is better than camargo? I disagree
