GDT: 4/16/18 @ 7:35. Opening day rematch edition.

I think the only thing that stops him are injuries. He seems to always be suffering from something.

Not being injured seems to be, to a certain extent, a skill. Just one more way Mike Trout has been and is better.

And our own Chip was unceremoniously dismissed from WGN, along with Steve Stone, for trashing the Cubs late in one of their garbage seasons of the previous decade.
Stone is a great example considering WGN retained him for White Sox games. Good recall

Tucker started the first 7 games of the season with a 231 WRC+. The last 7 games (not including the 0-2 tonight) he's at a 25 WRC+. Dude has already cooled off yet it likely will take until his overall season stats start to suffer until a move is made. That's the issue with waiting until the hot streak is over when players hit the ground running.

I don't get it. Acuna should be up tomorrow. What the heck is going on?

I think Stone might’ve had a “cool off” year in between WGN gigs. But yea: being dismissed from Cubs broadcasting for negative commentary was, I’m sure, a real plus to many Sox fans.

Fantastic inning. Keeping the Phillies off balance tonight. Wonder why he's throwing more change ups all of a sudden. I think he can live at 88-91 if he start's throwing that pitch more effectively.
