Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

Michael Cohen has dropped his lawsuit against BUZZFEED over the Steele Dossier. Apparently, there isn't enough reputation left to damage. Either that or he believes Mueller has evidence he traveled to Prague.

also he just needed the news cycle of the lawsuit was needed

the followers of trump and that ilk will see on fox news the suit happened to prove he was innocent in their eyes and then never make it to air when it was dismissed

This is expounded upon and clarified a little in Marshall's podcast, but the main takeaway is that Cohen is and always has been adjacent to organized crime, and his business ventures mostly involve repatriating money from Ukraine and former Soviet republics. It seems pretty clear he was brought into Trump's fold to turn that money hose towards the Trump Org.

Wow. It’s almost like Christopher Steele is a straight shooter,

and that the Dossier is true.

It’s the damndest thing.

I think we'll find out that his true loyalties lie with himself and his family not the president.

Reports of Rudy in talks to join Trump legal team.

50/50 seems the consensus whether it will happen.

I been wondering why Rudy's name hasn't come up more often. Not only for malfeasance but his legal expertise.

Once again, we are watching a (R) Civil War.
Name me one (D) of consequence involved
.............

and just like that this pops up

Again: why has not DOJ IG investigated Giuliani’s collusion with bad apples in the NY FBI to smear Clinton right before the election?

Wondered the same. Then learned he is there to " negotiate an end to the Mueller probe"

Just putting this here as a bookmark of sorts: before he left the firm in 2016

(in the middle of advising the Trump presidential campaign), Rudy Giuliani's "Bracewell & Giuliani"

had ONE office besides its US/UK offices. Where?

In the United Arab Emirates.

which makes me wonder why Jarad isn't leading his legal team ?

Wonder how long it's been since Rudy tried a case?

Remember Flynn's reported involvement in a plot to kidnap exiled Turkish cleric Fethullah Gulen? That plot involved securing the release of a prisoner named Reza Zarrab.

Zarrab's lawyer? Giuliani.

Zarrab struck a plea deal in Nov.

He may be a cooperating witness. For Mueller.

In a Feb. 8, 2017, memo, Comey recounted how the president denied an allegation raised in a dossier written by a former British spy that he consorted with prostitutes in Moscow, but he also claimed that Putin had told him “we have some of the most beautiful hookers in the world.’’

Two things I wonder about:

1) Did this conversation with Putin really happen? You never know with Trump.

2) If it did when did it happen? The timeline is of some interest.
