Folty ranked #25 in BP's CMD stat, and #18 in their CSAA stat, out of 75 qualified SPs in 2017.

I wouldn't call that bottom 20, but you've never been wrong about anything, so who am I to disagree?

Well since Newcomb is wayyyy better than Folty at hitting his spots I would imagine he would be close to top 10 no?

He has been much better vs lefties in the minors too, including the last few in AA and AAA. I think he had something like a .970 OPS vs lefties and just over .700 vs righties in AAA in 2017. AA in 2016 was even more dramatic IIRC.

I think that got both Markakis and Tucker back up over .800 OPS, Tucker is .801 now. Markakis needs to play in Cincy to improve his power numbers.

Folty does feel like a guy better coaching might be able to unlock as there is interesting stuff there but I wouldn't trust Chuck Hernandez/this staff to do it.

Like if he went to Houston, as an example (ironically), he might completely bust out there.
