It was his mustache, which smelled faintly of cheese that drew her to him.
It had a homey smell that reminded her of Family Thanksgivings.
When he put his deflated hands on her rubbery skin there was an electricity
that she had never felt.
Their passion was so deeply wrong...

This one is easy to explain. You dont go take a drug test if you know you are going to fail. Most drugs are out of your system in days except marijuana so its really just a test fr marijuana. It always easier to explain missing a test than failing a test. Plus being the gubment a failed test could get you reported to the police and thats enough to get a judge to rubber stamp a SWAT team to raid your house at 2 AM. Could also report you to CPS who could take your kids because its better they get raped and beaten by a stranger than loved and cared for by their natural parent who smokes pot.

One might also wonder who's making the big bucks from administering/scoring these drug tests. I mean, no way those who stir the "let's test these freeloaders for drugs before they're allowed OUR money" would also be the ones who make money from the tests, would they???

I dont know the specifics but I bet the drug test is the same I have done for work before. Theres plenty of companies that do nothing but these drug tests. I think its a safe bet they lobby pretty heavily. The test is a joke though I could pass it high as a kite. The test checks for dilution and temperature. They make a product that you can fit in your underwear that keeps clean urine at the right temperature. They also make fake pee to use but I dont like using it because of the risk of not getting the water mix right. When you do the test you are in a room alone with a closed door and no one watching so its really easy to cheat and I dont think the workers even care really. To do an actual probation drug test they would have to pay employees a lot more to look at peoples junk all day.

Fun fact: McDonald's would only have to raise the price of the big mac 17 cents in order to pay ALL of their workers at least $15 an hour.

If McDonald's could raise their big Mac 17 cents and it not negatively impact sales, they would have already done it
If you could guarantee me that those $15 hour employees wouldn’t actually screw up my Big Mac, I would gladly pay the 17 extra cents. Unfortunately, they don’t exactly hire Nobel Laureates at that place.

17 cents wouldn't hurt sales overall

it would hurt their own "pocket" even though they already makes billions

if they gave it to their employees maybe they would get better employees who care to have a good paying job that makes them feel valuable and care about their job/business

but hey, i just want people to be able to have a livable wage

I’m sure you know their business better than they do. You should forward them your post.

yeah, i'm sure i'm totally wrong

weird how they can pay a livable wage to their employees in other western countries

but here? na

hell, people pay McD over $2.00 for cold coffee --- .
Drive thru lines out to the street.

$3.99 is the going rate for a Big Mac.
If a person is willing to pay $3.99 for that garbage -- they will pony up $4.16.

Gas goes up $.50-.75 a gallon and we pay it without thinking.
To be fair, I was told by one of our economic seers rising prices are an indicator of a growing economy.
Or does that only apply while enabling / i mean defending the corporate welfare state/ investor class
