GDT 10/3/13: Dodgers (Kershaw) @ Braves (Medlen) - NLDS Game 1 - 8:30 PM

12 Ks. This game has done nothing but validate everything the national sports media has been saying. So we have no right to complain about them any longer.

I guess the one silver lining is we can't play much worse than we have tonight.

This has turned into the spanking we all feared.
I hope we re-think our hitting philosophy this off-season.

Gonna go watch some real porn now.

This Kershaw domination of the Braves has not turned me on at all.

Coming into this series I saw two ways we would win: 1.) steal game one against Kershaw and then win 2 of 3...or lose game one, force a game 5 and hope for a miracle against Kershaw. Unfortunately path number one is gone. Now we just need to shoot for path number two. Tomorrow becomes a must win. If we win, it sucks but we are still tied which is essentially what you expect with two great teams. Just better hope the bats show up tomorrow. Greinke is amazing but he is hittable...and there is a huge difference between being a great pitcher and being basically unhittable. Grienke is a great pitcher, but my friends he is no Clayton Kershaw. Heres to tomorrow!!

Really using wood and carpenter in a blow out umm isn't that what hale is here for? Wtf freddy

How else will the Dodgers get experience against our key bullpen arms if we don't use them needlessly? Although I guess that kind of assumes that we will lead at any point, or even score another run.

Agreed about Greinke. But at the end of the series if we do force a game 5 or a 4 for that matter, we will see Kershaw again.

:Gasp: Could not sum it up better. It's like watching a porn and the camera is focused on the girl in a hot camera angle and suddenly it zooms and shows a closeup of the guy sweating. Like WHY WHY WHY

Remember when Medlen struck out the side in the first inning. Remember the excitement of the fans. Remember those good feelings.

Remember?
