GDT: Cubs @ Braves 5/15

There is nothing that could have happened that warrants an appeal taking almost 2 months.

Disagree. He was initially flagged for a diuretic "masking agent". For that to warrant suspension, investigations have to happen, and MLB has to find intent to mask something. Once "intent" is introduced as grounds, there's a whole hell of a lot to argue over and arbitrate.

Then he withdrew objection once he got hurt? In other words, F you, mlb - cano

Bull****. Nothing takes 2 months unless folks are intentionally dragging their feet.

The fact he accepted the suspension once hurt is damning.

Lol Joe roasting Cano and he didn't even test positive for a PED. Now I'm not gonna be naive, it's probably likely that he did use it to mask for a PED. But still, seems like he's over-exaggerating quite a bit.

Cano withdrew objection once he broke hand/wrist/whatever. He cheated

Again, disagree—though I'm sure there was some of that, it's also his counsel's responsibility (to Cano as client) to exhaust every recourse in appeal, which necessarily takes time.

Agree here—that's not a good look. It's quite strategic, given the rules, but definitely not a good referendum on Cano's culpability.
