Disagree. He was initially flagged for a diuretic "masking agent". For that to warrant suspension, investigations have to happen, and MLB has to find intent to mask something. Once "intent" is introduced as grounds, there's a whole hell of a lot to argue over and arbitrate.

The fact he accepted the suspension once hurt is damning.

Again, disagree—though I'm sure there was some of that, it's also his counsel's responsibility (to Cano as client) to exhaust every recourse in appeal, which necessarily takes time.

Agree here—that's not a good look. It's quite strategic, given the rules, but definitely not a good referendum on Cano's culpability.
